HeimPulse

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 30, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data HeimPulse collects when you use our website and dashboard, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

What we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, and password hash when you sign up.
  • Billing data: handled by our payment processor (Stripe) — we don't store full card numbers ourselves.
  • Monitoring configuration: the URLs, endpoints, headers, and assertions you configure for checks. Header and body values you mark as sensitive are encrypted before storage.
  • Usage data: login sessions, API requests, and basic product analytics needed to operate the Service.

How we use it

We use this data to operate and improve the Service — running your configured checks, authenticating you, billing your subscription, sending account and incident notifications, and providing support. We don't sell your data.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to protect your session - these don't require consent and can't be turned off. On this website (not the dashboard), we also use PostHog, a product analytics tool, to understand how visitors use our pages; this only runs if you accept it in the cookie banner shown on your first visit, and you can decline it there or change your choice at any time by clearing this site's local storage. We don't use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Third parties

We share data with a small number of processors strictly to run the Service: our payment processor (Stripe) for billing, and our cloud infrastructure provider for hosting. Each is bound to only use your data to provide their service to us. See our Security overview for how sensitive monitoring data is protected.

Data retention

We retain account and monitoring data for as long as your account is active, plus a limited period afterward to allow account recovery and meet accounting obligations. You can request earlier deletion at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email support@heimpulse.com.

Children's privacy

The Service isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active account holders before they take effect.
