Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of HeimPulse's website, dashboard, and monitoring services (the "Service"), operated by HeimPulse ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. The Service

HeimPulse runs automated health checks against URLs and endpoints you configure, and publishes the resulting status — uptime, incidents, and performance — on status pages and through your dashboard. Checks run on a schedule you set, from HeimPulse-operated infrastructure described on our bot info page.

2. Accounts

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable use

You may only configure monitoring against URLs and domains you own, operate, or are otherwise authorized to monitor. Full detail on what's permitted and prohibited is in our Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these Terms.

4. Cookies

Our website and dashboard use cookies as described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms. Essential cookies (keeping you signed in, protecting your session) are always on and don't require consent. Creating an account doesn't by itself consent to anything beyond that — optional analytics cookies are enabled only if you separately accept them through the cookie banner shown on our website, and you can decline or change that choice at any time.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees due. Cancellation and refund terms are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Availability and disclaimer

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free. Monitoring results reflect what our checkers observed at check time and may not capture every outage or false positive. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HeimPulse won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the Service — including losses resulting from an outage the Service failed to detect or report in time. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for any account that violates these Terms, including the Acceptable Use Policy, or that we reasonably believe poses a risk to us, other users, or third parties.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll take reasonable steps to notify active account holders before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
