Every extra teammate on Hyperping is a line item. On HeimPulse, up to 50 of them are already included.
Hyperping is a genuinely broader platform — more monitor types, more alert channels, more check locations by default. This is the honest comparison for the moment you're paying for breadth you're not using, and watching your invoice grow with your headcount instead.
- —You need TCP, keyword, cron/heartbeat, or browser/synthetic checks today
- —You want SMS, phone-call, Discord, Telegram, or Teams alerts out of the box
- —You want enforced org-wide SSO (Okta/Azure AD/SAML) before your team is big enough to justify a $99/mo plan
- —18 check locations by default matters more than a specific region you pick
- —You don't want a per-seat invoice that grows every time you add a teammate
- —You want incident detection smarter than "retry N times" — a real outage weighed against a blip, tracked separately from degraded performance
- —HTTP(S) and SSL are genuinely all you're monitoring, and a wider platform is something to pay for, not benefit from

Hyperping pricing and features last verified against hyperping.com, September 2026
| Feature | Hyperping | HeimPulse |
|---|---|---|
| Starting price | Free, then $29/mo (Essentials) | Free, then $29/mo (Pro) |
| Team members | 2 seats on Essentials, 5 on Pro ($89), 15 on Business ($299) — each extra seat is $7–12/mo on top | 3 on Free, 10 on Pro ($29), 50 on Business ($99) — flat, no per-seat charge at any tier |
| Check types | HTTP(S), TCP port, keyword matching, cron/heartbeat, browser/synthetic checks (Playwright), plus SSL | HTTP(S) — status, latency, header, and body assertions, plus a separate SSL/TLS certificate check. DNS and gRPC are planned, not shipped yet |
| SSL/TLS certificate monitoring | Included on every plan, including Free | A dedicated host-level check, but gated to Pro/Business — not on the Free plan |
| Check locations | 18 regions by default, on every plan including Free | Your choice of 1 region on Free, every live region on Pro/Business - Frankfurt and New Jersey today, Singapore/São Paulo/Tel Aviv/Sydney on request |
| Failure/incident detection | "Double check" — retries a failed check a set number of times before alerting, to cut false positives | Sliding-window detection that weighs several recent checks to separate a real outage from a blip, plus a distinct degraded-performance signal and auto-resolve |
| Notification channels | Email, SMS, phone calls (Pro+), Slack, Discord, Telegram, MS Teams, PagerDuty, Opsgenie, webhooks | Email on every plan; webhook (HMAC-signed, SSRF-guarded) and Slack on Pro/Business, with retry/backoff and dead-lettering. PagerDuty forwarding is coming soon (Pro/Business). No SMS, phone, Discord, or Teams |
| SSO | Google sign-in on Free; enforced org-wide SSO (Okta/Azure AD) from $29/mo; full SAML from $89/mo | Google sign-in on every plan; enforced org-wide SSO (any OIDC provider) is Business-only ($99/mo) |
| Status pages | 1 basic page (Free), 3 (Essentials/Pro), 10 (Business, $299) | 1 page (Free), 3 (Pro, $29), 25 (Business, $99) |
| Top-tier ceiling | Business is $299/mo (1,000 monitors, audit logs, white-labeling), self-serve; Enterprise beyond that is custom-priced | Business is $99/mo flat and self-serve; above that, custom plans exist but aren't self-serve — you contact support and work out pricing together |
- Far more monitor types today — TCP ports, keyword matching, cron/heartbeat jobs, and Playwright-based browser/synthetic checks are all real on Hyperping. HeimPulse is HTTP(S)-and-SSL only.
- SSL/TLS certificate monitoring on every plan, including Free — HeimPulse gates its equivalent check to Pro/Business.
- Broader alerting — SMS, phone calls (Pro and up), Discord, Telegram, MS Teams, plus PagerDuty and Opsgenie forwarding, on top of email/Slack/webhooks. HeimPulse ships email/webhook/Slack today, with PagerDuty forwarding coming soon.
- Enforced org-wide SSO much earlier in the pricing ladder — Okta/Azure AD from $29/mo, full SAML from $89/mo. HeimPulse's equivalent (connecting any OIDC provider and enforcing it for the whole org) is Business-only, at $99/mo — though both tools offer plain Google sign-in on their free plans.
- No per-seat fees, at any tier — 10 team members included flat at $29/mo, 50 at $99/mo. Hyperping charges $7–12/mo for every seat past its small included count on every paid plan.
- Sliding-window incident detection that weighs several recent checks to tell a real outage from a one-off blip, plus a distinct degraded-performance signal and auto-resolve — not just a fixed retry-before-alert.
If you're moving from Hyperping
What actually changes, not just what's on the comparison table.
TCP, keyword, cron/heartbeat, and browser/synthetic checks don't have a home yet. HeimPulse only checks HTTP(S) endpoints and SSL/TLS certificates today, so anything watched with one of Hyperping's other monitor types stays wherever it is until HeimPulse ships that check type.
SMS, phone call, Discord, Telegram, and Teams alerts go away. HeimPulse's channels are email, webhook, and Slack, with PagerDuty forwarding coming soon on Pro/Business. If you're relying on Hyperping's phone-call escalation or a Discord/Teams integration, that's a gap to plan around, not a like-for-like swap.
Enforced org-wide SSO moves later in the plan ladder. Hyperping offers Okta/Azure AD from $29/mo and full SAML from $89/mo. HeimPulse's equivalent — connecting any OIDC provider and enforcing it for the whole org — is part of its $99/mo Business plan only, a real step up in price if that's the one thing you need. Plain Google sign-in works on both tools' free plans.
Check locations become a deliberate choice, not a default spread. Hyperping checks from 18 locations out of the box. On HeimPulse you pick specific named regions per plan — one on Free, every live region on Pro/Business (Frankfurt and New Jersey today; Singapore, São Paulo, Tel Aviv, and Sydney go live on request) — and every check runs from the regions you've selected, not a broad default set.
Frequently asked questions
Is this page trying to talk you out of Hyperping?
No. Hyperping is a genuinely broader platform — more monitor types, more alert channels, more check locations, and enforced organization-wide SSO available much earlier in its pricing ladder. If you need TCP/keyword/cron/browser checks, or SMS and phone-call alerting, it already covers ground HeimPulse doesn't. This page is for the narrower case: you're monitoring HTTP(S) endpoints and want flat, predictable pricing without a per-seat invoice or a five-tier ladder to map your team against.
What monitor types does HeimPulse actually support today?
HTTP(S) checks — status code, latency, header, and body assertions — plus a separate SSL/TLS certificate expiry check that does a real handshake against a host independent of any HTTP monitoring. TCP, keyword, cron/heartbeat, and browser/synthetic check types aren't built yet. If you need those today, Hyperping already has them.
Does Hyperping have SSL certificate monitoring?
Yes — included on every plan, including Free, with alerts for expiration and certificate errors like a missing common name or a self-signed cert. HeimPulse also does a dedicated SSL/TLS check, but only on Pro and Business, not Free.
Why does Hyperping cost more at the top end?
Its $299/mo Business plan is built for a different scale — 1,000 monitors, audit logs, white-labeling, and SAML SSO, self-serve, with a custom-priced Enterprise tier above that for larger asks. HeimPulse's self-serve ceiling is $99/mo flat, aimed at teams that fit inside 100 services. Past that, HeimPulse also has custom plans, but they're not self-serve yet — you'd talk to support and work out pricing together, not pick a listed price.
Is there a free plan?
Yes — 3 services with 3 endpoints each, one region, one status page, and a day of check history, no credit card required.
