Frequently asked questions
What happens if I cancel?
Canceling moves your organization to the Free plan at the end of your current billing period — it doesn't delete your account or your data. If your current usage is over the Free plan's limits (more services or team members than it allows, say), you'll need to bring it within those limits before the downgrade takes effect. Nothing is silently deleted to force a fit.
How long is my check history kept?
1 day on Free, 7 days on Pro, 14 days on Business. That's raw per-check history — your public status page and uptime numbers aren't affected by this window, only how far back you can look at individual check results.
I'm moving from another status-page tool. Is there an import?
Not an automated one today — there's no CSV or API import from another provider. In practice this is quick by hand: add each service and endpoint you're monitoring elsewhere (a few minutes each, see getting started), then point your status page's domain over once you're happy with it. If you're moving a lot of services and want a hand, reach out.
What's your security posture?
Passwords are hashed with Argon2id, sessions are server-side and revocable (log out everywhere, or have an org owner force-log-out a specific member), and sensitive header/body values you configure on a check are encrypted before they're stored. Full details on the security page.
What happens if I go over a plan's limit?
Nothing gets silently throttled or auto-upgraded. HeimPulse blocks the specific action — adding one more service, say — until you either free up room or move to a plan that fits. You decide when to change plans, not the system.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes — upgrade or downgrade at any time from your billing settings. Downgrading is blocked if your current usage wouldn't fit the smaller plan's limits, same rule as cancellation above.
Do you offer a free trial of paid plans?
The free plan itself has no time limit — use it as long as you want. Start there, and move to Pro or Business only once you actually need the extra room.
